********* Open to sensible offers as my insurance runs out on 7th march ***************
Here we have an extremely well looked after and cared for JDM bugeye Subaru Impreza STi, with very very low mileage for its year.
It pains me to be doing this as soon as I've only just got this car, but thanks to my insurance company screwing me over and informing me that a claim that was pending from october 2009 has been brought to a close with me taking the flack for it due to lack of evidence even though it wasn't my fault. So now my insurance company and many others are giving me ridiculous quotes for the scooby resulting in me not being able to afford it as my wife is on maternity leave and the money I had put aside for insurance come renewal time on the 7th march doesn't even come close to the quotes I've been getting, so I have no choice but to let the scooby go and be enjoyed by someone else rather than myself. :-( Extremely gutted about this as I've been longing to get back into a performance car for ages and after finally not needing a diesel anymore.
But needs must so I'll crack on with the advert.

Overall condition of the car is brilliant for its age and it has clearly been looked after, I wouldn't buy a rubbish car as I'm very particular when it comes to my cars. Although, being 9 years old this year it does have some blemishes as to be expected, these are minor and I'm purely pointing them out to be as honest as possible. These are covered in the photos below.
The interior is basically immaculate, no blemishes in that and everything works exactly as it should.
The engine is extremely clean, I owned a scooby a couple of years ago and no matter how hard I tried to get my engine bay clean I could never get it as clean as this one is!!
It ticks over beautifully, very very quiet, a lot quieter than my old one. All fluids are up to the correct levels and are all clean and recently changed by previous owner. (Who was fanatical about the car)
The headunit is some sort of special kit! I have never seen a headunit so capable of so much! It has a built in hard drive which copies every cd that is put into it (records the cd 4 times faster than playback) and then stores it on a built in hard drive library! So effectively a built in ipod / mp3 player! It also plays SD cards, has an extremely accurate and up to date satnav system, and built in bluetooth with hands free kit fitted with mic in A pillar.
It has just gone threw a fresh MOT so has 12 months remaining, it also had 6 months TAX put on it at the beginning of this month so has tax until the end of July.
It has every MOT since being imported into the UK in 2006 to verify the mileage, it had 30,360 klms on the clock when it was imported, its now showing 58,037 on the clock (will increase as in daily use) so 27,677 miles have been done in the UK, add the 30,360 klms which converts to 18,864 miles which brings the total 46,541 miles.
The only downsides to bring up about the car is as with the vast majority of imports it has very little service history. It had a cambelt change at the beginning of 2010, and the clutch was replaced in 2009 (only 12,000 miles ago) all servicing was carried out by the previous owners, oil and filter change every 3000 miles without fail, and its obvious as the engine is so smooth and quiet.
It has been dyno'd at a very healthy 299.3 bhp @ Scooby Clinic, where they reported the car to be running very very well with no problems showing with how the engine performs, i.e air / fuel ratio, boost, etc. It really is very fast and pulls very strong.
As mentioned earlier it has a couple of very minor bodywork blemishes, and I mean minor compared to some of the scoobies out there, but I like to be honest so I'm not wasting anyones time or my own.
They are, a very small hardly noticable ding (could hardly pick it up with the camera) on the front passenger wing -
Some chipped paint on the trim around the rear passenger window -
And some surface rust around the passneger rear arch lip, luckily just surface and easily repairable and preventable at this stage -
I'm truely gutted to be selling this as I had big plans for this car and I wanted to get a real good scooby for a platform which I did, but I need a car on a daily bases and if I can't afford to insure it then I simply can't keep it. :-(
As I've only just got the car myself I obviously don't have the log book through yet so I won't be letting the car go until I have that. If you are genuinely in terested in the car then I'm happy to take a small deposit to secure the car for you. (Private plate in pics is not included and will be sold with original plates on it) 4 previous owners.
