96 EK9 TYPE R Build the beginning...

I recently bought a 96 ek9 from my buddy. I'm doing a type r conversion and have a few parts and plan on putting a k series in from the start. Parts I have so far are black suade headliner, black suade back seat with red stitching, red type r floor mats, type r shift boot and chrome shift knob. I still have a lot of parts to buy and also this is my first Honda build so I'm a noob to a lot of things. I will be asking plenty of questions and will need a lot of help. I plan on doing most of the work at home with some friends who know About.Honda's but I would like some feedback on the plan i have so far for the car and maybe things ill need to know for the future. Thanks
 
Yeah its a 96, I think 96 is like the latest model. I'm not 100% sure BC I'm still new to this Honda lol
 
Why a Type R conversion when you already have a Type R? Are you sure your car is an EK9?
 
My misstake I do have an ek but its not a type r right now its just a plain white ek. The type r parts listedd are what I bought recently...I didn't have them when I bought the car. Ill post some pics
