96 spec dc2 Build up

Bought this a few months back, never been a huge fan of the dc2 but this seemed to pull very hard for a stock b18c

Any who some pictures of the progress over the last month



When I got it.

Had a fairly nice spec.

J's titanium exhaust
spoon braces
skunk2 header
autoaqu ecu.

Took off the j's as it was to loud. skunk2 went in replace for a j's racing 421 as IMO makes the best power. standard 98 spec ecu as IMO pulls better with it.



J's 421 fitted with decat and oem dc2 system.

BYS front bumper fitted.





98 spec rear bumper and gurney flap fitted.





The paint was abit tired so had planned on a re fresh, but decided on a colour change as I was spending the money anyways.





Stripped ready for paint.









Wings smoothed



Ariel hole smoothed





Colour applied.



Slowly re freshing stone chip. new light seals and putting back together.
 
When i seen you on facebook and seen a picture of this next to a breaker you had i wondered whos it was lol, nice choice mate :)

Fairplay to you man its a good looking car and i like it in the blue, love it when people are original, i love my DC2 but havent even driven it yet :(

Spec is as follows.
Healthy 96 spec b18cr
j's 421 2.5id
2.5" true decat
oem dc2 system
k&n air filter on oem soft pipe.
98 spec p73 ecu

218bhp but air temp was 6degree's.
 
The car looks fierce well! The colour really suits it! Are the side skirts blue or black?

Skirts are blue. Need to take the wings off yet to re fresh the stonechip and seal the welding in the wings so haven't re fitted them yet.
