Took this car in part exchange for my BMW. It's a brilliant car, great to drive, but think I'm finally grown out of track focused Hondas. A few years ago this would be my ultimate daily, not so much now I'm nearing 27. Perfect track car/fast road car at what I would say is pretty low cost.

The car is a 1995 very early 96 Spec ITR JDM Import. Championship whiten colour. Has covered 136k, some in miles and some in km - not really sure how much of what, but the car feels solid to drive. The car has only covered approx 10k in the last 5 years going by old MOT's, the previous owner only stayed about 3 miles from work and never used it all the time.

11 months MOT
5 months TAX

The car is slightly modified with no expense being spared on the parts. Some really expensive (and rare) parts fitted on this. Modifications on the car are :-

15" Spoon SW388 Alloy Wheels (GENUINE!!!!!!!) with Yoko Parada Spec2 Tyres
BC Coilovers (almost new and in great condition)
Buddyclub Spec3 Exhaust
Decat
Stainless Manifold (2.5" bore) - unsure of the brand but its of decent quality.
Spoon drop-in Panel Filter
HID Headlights
Safety Devices 6-Point Roll Cage
Spoon Rear Strut Brace
Sparco Pedals
BC Shortshifter
Defo Oil Temoerature and Oil Pressure Gauges with controller/logger
HEL Braided Brake Lines
CarbonFibre Bonnet with AeroCatches
Clifford 650 Concept Alarm with proximity sensors.
Blue Silicone HT Leads

Spoon SW388 wheels. Don't see these very often. Rare as wheels and worth a decent whack. Still have the Desmond stickers on them for peace of mind if we have any doubters. Condition isn't the greatest, one has very slight merging and the colour of them seems a bit odd. Sorta petroleum bluey kinda colour. Think it's meant to be satin black finish.

Car is currently fully stripped out minus the door cards. I have the rest of the interior trim there apart from the carpet and the base of the rear bench, but can see about getting these for prospective buyer if thry want the interior trims with the car. Still fitted with the original red Recaro seats which are in ok condition. Drivers side bolster has some slight wear and are a bit dirty. Have cleaned them once and have come up great, will be icing them a second going over during the weekend.

Mechanically the car is absolutely excellent. I've used it a few times to and from work and for some decent hard road driving. The car uses no oil at all, no smoke in VTEC or on startup. Very good, healthy and strong engine. Uses no water either. Suspension is nice and tight, handles very well.

Body work isn't the best but for its age it's certainly not the worst. Rear quarters look to have been painted, but magnet test on the usual rust areas and a good feel in the inner arches shows there has been no rust covered up by filler. Very solid bodywork otherwise. Slight lacquer peel on the roof jus above the rear window and general car park dings in a few places, as expected of any 18 year old daily used car. The headlights have some fading around them from what is probably Japan's sun. They look like they may be Si/GSR Headlights as don't appear to have the black internals. The black could have faded as they don't seem totally chrome like the Si/GSR ones. If I get a chance I may strip them and spray the insides satin black. The carbon bonnet also has areas around it that have faded. Might be able to be polished up.

The engine bay is minging and will be getting a clean over the weekend. It doesn't really bother me too much. It's fully meant for purpose, just dirty. Everything works as it is supposed to.

Here are some pictures of the car. They talk more than words can.

*MODS* I'll have engine bay picture ready for upload tomorrow. Apologies, getting a wee bit dark out just now and completely forgot earlier when taking the other pics.

Price is set a £4400ono. I feel this is a fair price due to the spec of the car more than anything. There is more money in breaking the car so if I don't get close to the asking price then I could be tempted to break. I'm giving it 3-4 weeks.

P/X is a option - try me with WHY, similair valued car. Diesel preferred at the moment but I can only say no.

Mileage will increase as it is being used on the odd occasion.

Call/Txt 07411634270. I work shifts (mostly nights) so if no answer, leave a message/txt and i'll reply ASAP.

Car is located in Falkirk, Central Scotland.

Many Thanks for reading.

Can also include these Rota Slipstream alloys fitted with Yoko Advan A048 tyres for an additional price :)

Going to give this another week or two, then will look into removing some of the mods for standard items and reducing the price of the car.

Looks like a nice car man. Would love a dc2. Hope it goes to a good home.

Thought it was already on here - it's on other adverts - apologies.

Engine bay is manky and could do with a good degrease, but its built for purpose not for show

Thanks bushell. It's a cracking motor and drives really nice.

Bump

Still available. May be back to standard suspension next weekend, depending on if I can arrange a deal with the guy.

Price will be amended to suit if this does happen.

Bump. Still for sale, still modified same as above.

Can reduce price and remove mods accordingly to suit. Could have standard replacement parts in the next coming weeks. Everything apart from exhaust anyway.
