I am brand new to this forum but I have been around other forums for years. I figured I would post up the current project of mine.

hope you guys enjoy

I got rid of my 2003 Z and going to be driving this around once I can drive it.

1994 Integra GSR. Bought it as a roller for $1200

Plans (right now):

12.0:1 K24 Engine
Type S Trans
Wavetrac lsd
Wheels and tires (ended up buying rota torques haha) (woooo for cheap tires again)
Koni Yellows with Ground Control Coilovers
ITR rear swaybar.

Future (later this year):
Slowly swap out the interior for either brand new **** or ITR ****.
Maybe if i have time and money repaint it to Champ White.
Few other things here and there to get it looking better again.

On with the pics.

Here is the roller on the trailer on the way home.

The K20 PRB Cylinder head, pretty much the only reason I picked up this long block and trans combo.

Well over the weekend I tore down my K24 long block so I could take it to get a bore and hone done as my pistons showed up last week. Here are some pics from that:

The block and girdle have now been cleaned, inspected, and are ready to go out for machining.

I also decided to start ripping out the insides of the car. The interior was much like you would expect a 1994 honda to be.... damn near falling apart. I plan to replace almost all of it with brand new oem stuff as time and money permits. Till then I will just be rolling stripped lol.

Also, a few of my swap parts and engine parts are starting to come in.

My mounts showed up about a week or so ago, but I am still waiting on some head work, cams, and my block to be finished with the bore and hone.

I finally had a chance to work on the car a little bit this weekend.

I spent about an hour cleaning out the inside a little more.

Sadly that is all the updates I have. Still waiting on a few things before some major updates can take place.

Soooooo I figured it was time I updated this thread a little bit.

So far I have cleaned out all the dirt I found under the interior panels, and did the first stage of sound deadening. I figured I will keep it this way till after I get the car running. Once its running I will use the extra materials to hit the trouble spots. Considering its going to be running no cat, and 3inch exhaust I might as well make some attempts to make it civilized enough to drive everyday.

All my “swap” parts have come in, most of my fuel and engine parts have come in as well. My ecu was just sent to Hondata to get the Kpro installed. Huge thanks to Will over at Hybrid, and Jeff over at Go-Power for helping me out on a bunch of stuff for this project. Great guys to work with. I would thank Robby and Doug over at BluePrint, but that would be thanking my self and BigWorm85 so I will not do such things.... oh wait....

Next on my list to purchase is a set of wheels (yuuup knock offs for now qqqqqq), tires, ground controls, koni yells, and carpet, then a couple decent recliner race style seats, either looking into black JDM DC5 ITR seats (even though this will only lead to my car getting stolen even sooner) or looking into some Carbeau TRS seats. I am still torn on what seats to go with.

This project is taking me way longer than planned but I have been busy with a bunch of other things so I guess I will deal. I hope to have it up and running mid June.

Anyway, on with the pics!

I stumbled upon a TSX long block for really cheap and it turned out to be an 06 so I will be running those cams to start. I plan to have some custom cams ground once I get my head back from being ported, but that wont be for a while. I have some other plans for the “back up” block I will be parting together once I assemble the motor that will be going into it first.

Nice build thread. keep coming with the pics and updates:nice:

Well I should finally be getting the block back from the machine shop sometime next week so at some point I will be putting this motor together and start doing the install. :D

Thank you for the kind words guys.

Amazing project, thanks for sharing!

Hey Robby my friend hows it going? Cool project!

Looking forwar to updates on this one! SUBSCRIBED :nice:

Well I finally heard back from the guy that has my block... should be done by the end of this week. then its time for assembly. then installation, then off to the shop that is building the header and custom exhaust. Then final wiring and then tune :D

sooo only what... about three more months? lol

nice job!!!good luck on the project...wish you all the luck

Nice. Looking good man. What did you use for the sound deadening?

I picked up some of the eDead Paint and eDead from Elemental Designs. I have been very happy with their amps in the past and the price could not be better so I figured why not.

Back to the project... well it looks like I am actually parting out the whole thing even though I was actually pretty close to finishing. Some better options opened up right now so I figured it was the right choice. :(

nice work man!, haha if this is a little project of yours, we can only imagine wat you can do when ur working on ur big project haha

good work! :D
