let us know when you going oulton thou again as i only live about 30-40 mins away and would be nice to meet you guys, didnt think there were many more 9`s round here be good to see some more =)

Hey Kev i have just been looking at day's at oulton myself & seen a nice cheep one on the 23rd of JAN wich is 4days after my birthday, so i may well be treating myself to that! (If i get my car all sorted by then!)
You should come down then & have a chat!:nice:
 
be good to get few of us on somewhere like oulton or anglesey

now the bloke at oulton tested my car 1000revs higher than cadwell so it was right on the limit of 105db but did pass

then he pulled me off the track in the afternoon, because he said it was to noisey and retested it but just said it was over the limit now but he wouldn't tell what the reading was, to be honest he was abit of a jobs worth

there was only like an hour and a half left tho so got most of the day in

i liked oulton first time i've drove there and was just learning as it dried out before i got booted off, i will go again

Who was your organiser? MSV? I've done Oulton afew times it's also my local track and I did it with Easytrack and once I had passed the static DB test (at 102db)...I got no bother from them the rest of the day. (Not an EK9 though)

I've also done Anglesey twice (once with Kev), both times organised by Circuit days and they are by far the best organisers in the UK. And with Ty Croes being in the middle of knowhere they don't do DB testing.
 
i was tested static at anglesey and was way over limit (RM01A), was several years old and no packing material left in it (bought brand new), being race system thats fair enough, cant remember exactly but was somthing like 113db maybe more at just static test at about 5k rpm

after about 15 mins of everyone being on guy just said, look go on and well do drive by test, they turned blind eye and let me carry on for rest of day

had every silencer on it then cut open and inspected, repaired and repacked where neccessary, fairly quieter now but gonna get it tested before i go on track again, also have bung though if needed to reduce by few db if required
