which induction kit is the best for the ek9? iv currently got an aem v2, its sounds great but it doesnt seem as quick since iv fitted it! any body else got the same 1 an noticed ne difference?
haribo has one on his ek9. it is awsume but he did lose out on bottom end power witch makes it feel ****. but top end power is really good he run a 14.6 on the 1/4 with a aem and spoon cat back so it must be doing somethin rite
For me, I would rather use stock box + cold air feed mod than to buy MUGEN. you'll save $1000. no difference in what it does compared to stock. Design and demensions almost identical to stock DC2R box, which is similar to EK9 box.
i disagree, the mugen airbox is a very good upgrade to the ek9 airbox. I have it in my ek and it has provided a noitceable improvement throughout the rev range. i agree that the dc2 airbox is very similar to the mugen though.

My point is the amount of gains isn't worth its price. The flaw with EK9 box is the capacity, which mugen has over it, thats why there will be some gains. But DC2R box is almost identical, but again looses slightly in capacity.
haha. . . in that case you are right as the mugen box is very expensive brand new . . never the less though, it is still the best induction kit out. . (imo)
