Just bought an aem v2 for my b16 second hand and it asnt come with fittings.. just wanting to know what connects the pipe to the inlet do I need a joining piece or wil it fit straight on cheers

Should have a rubber sleeve with 2 jubalee/pipe clips also should have the gearbox plate for the torque support

Measure the O/D of the v2 and the throttle body that will give you you internal diameter for the pipe size you need, samco or any silcone pipe makers should be able to sort you out, shouldnt cost to much

cool and one last stupid question im pretty sure you can but aem cone filter are machine washable aint they dont have to use any special stuff with it do i ?

Just seen you on ring road, looking good. I was just turning off to go to Morisons in Bramley and you went past

Hot soapy water should do it,shouldnt need to stick it in the washer, i think they use the spray on oil like K&N filters to catch the dirt

Speaking of fitment, the little arm on my V2 won't bolt on the hole which I see every other V2 bolted down to, the gearbox mount is in my way. I still have my arch liners if thats a problem?

It should bolt down on to a rubber double ended bolt,if youve got the aem gearbox plate adapter as the factory one is to big to run the pipe correctly, liners shouldnt get in way to much ive still got mine fitted with no probs and it keeps the water out

Ahah yeaaaa just finished work so mad rush to get home ahah

An cheers for info managed to get a silicone hose what I can use

AEM do a wash kit with oil if i'm right - i'd oil it to be safe however it does mean you'll be cleaning the filter more as it attracts so much dirt - i guess its doing its job though :D
