Air-con delete

Going to remove my air-con 2moro on my dc2,just wanted to know Can i just remove the belt from the pump or do i need to remove the pump?

Yes you can remove the belt, no harm in that. You just will experience what NOT having the drag on the crank/engine that the pump induces when the air con is on or off. Removing the entire AC will do the above AND lower weight that IS noticeable once everything is removed.

Take the pump off its very easy to do i weighed mine with the condenser and evrything and it came to 18kg!

All sorted today. Easy done. Everything that came out did weigh quiet a bit. Engine bay looking better already with it removed. Now on to removing and tucking other bits.

I did this last week makes the bay look so much cleaner
