Airedale performance??


Don't no dealer but car is known. I was offered this by a dealer I dealt with previously in Japan. Clean car, no accident career. Spoon stroker kit was fitted 2000kms ago and its running a spoon ecu. Car was estimated to make 230-240bhp and thats on Jap fuel not 250bhp as stated in advert.

Here is spec listed by dealer in Japan;

Detail: Spoon 1800cc high compression kit. This kit was attached before about 2000kms. Spoon ECU. APEX exhaust manifold. FUJITSUBO muffler. The power is from 240hp to 230hp. Spoon alloy wheels. Spoon clutch kit. MUGEN enhanced engine mount, steering rubber bushing, trailing arm bushing. CUSCO height adjustment coil over and HTS dumper kit. The radiator was exchanged to the DC2 radiator.

Has 125000 kms on clock

Airedale Performance are from keighley. Yes thats right!!! Same place where Keighley Auto Trade Are from. Enough Said.

My mate bought a honda civic ek4 vti from them, and he has had nothing but trouble. Trust ME STAY WELL AWAY!!!
 
Ahh right nice one for the warning ive heard bad things about keighley myself

Think ill stay clear of it.
 
just saw that ek9 on pistonheads the now. looks nice and clean and good spec list but pity about the sellers! :(

Well a couple of civic forum members I know have bought Limited edition EK4 VTI-S's from Airedale Performance and they are stunning orginal examples with full History, I myself have seen and driven them, So this EK9 must be a propa example:bow: I wish I could afford it tho :(

I don't import car's anymore but those dealers over there insist on sending me there stock list every week:angry2: FYI the car isnt sold from the dealer in Japan so they don't own the stock. There probably doing what alot of dealers are, posting up car's for sale saying due in stock at x date and when they get a deposit from someone thats when they buy it. If your after a nice EK9 get on to Duncan, user name type-r-dunk on here. He imports some seriously clean cars.

Well I always use this forum do get the best EK9 info and me posting now doesnt mean Im a Trader??? LOL

Just seen the name and read the post, thought I would tell everyone about 2 people I know who have nothing but good stuff to say about Airedale Performance, I mean there are alot of haters out there aswell, not that Im saying you are buddy....enjoy the forum newbie!:D

Orite airedale keep ya hair on. God for a newcomer who has come to post a thread to defend airedale, you come across very defensive. plus the ad has no other pics or spec, and they are claiming 250BHP, with standard radiator,fuel pump, and rad, i think not. so for all we know he has probably jus taken a pic from net and advertised it!!! not hard, Newbie!!!
 
So you think 250hp is not possible with stock fuel pump and radiator?

ok ek94lyf i mean torque lol keep ya hair on! Makes u think why HATERS lyk to post up on forums trying to diss others, oh well maybe they get a kick out of it lol like i said before ive been on this forum a while and me posting now doesnt mean im Airedale...
 
Try to give specific examples if you feel a company is not worth dealing with.
