any help?? CEL code 10

the other night the engine light came on in the car, car still drives grand and doesnt seem to be running any different,

the code points the problem to the IAT (intake air temperature sensor)


can this be cleaned out or does it need replacing,
which sensor is this on the manifold?

any info taken

It's the sensor located on intake manifold runner. Check the wire plug make sure it's not wet/damp.

i'l check it out tonight,

if it needs to be replaced are they expensive

are they a common thing to go wrong?

You would pick up a second hand one cheap. No not common at all to go faulty...
