Anyone got a gearbox split down...?

Basically looking for some help, this is my first car gearbox build so please bare with me...

I have basically rebuilt my DC5 box and was wondering when everything is back in the casing, should it spin freely by hand? Or should it be fairly tight? It spins when i put the gun on the countershaft nut...

Yes it should all spin freely with ur hand. Even in gear it should not be tight.
 
Yeh sorry schoolboy error, when putting it back together i had reverse selected with another gear... It was dark and i was tired lol
