I need to lean down the idling fuel with the power FC. Currently the air/fuel ratio is at 11.8 which is very rich. I have tried to use the hand-held controller to lean it down but without much luck. Can someone give me some direction.

I tried to use the setting-> InjMap-> input smaller value. But it doesn't change the A/F ratio after change the value.

Spec.
Apex's Power FC for B18C
A/F meter: Zeitronix Zt-2
Car: EK4 with B16A engine

I have to wait at least 2 to 3 more weeks before i can get it dyno tuned. Thanks.

Did you just fit it? Did you do the idle learn properly?

No, I didn't since my engine is newly rebuilt I do not want to let it idle for too long. Also I couldn't find the b18C Apex's Power FC manual online, I could only find the RX7 Power FC manual for reference. Is the idle learn really going to help? From my understanding the idle learning is just let the car idle for like couple minutes, am I correct? Thanks!

I am going to get it tune in 2 or 3 weeks time but it is idle so rich that I am afraid of ruin my newly rebuilt engine.

Have you got the stock 02 sensor fitted and wired in?

No, I don't use the stock O2 sensor since this is possible without it with Apex's power FC. Thanks for pointing out, that might be the problem.

How to correct this problem? I still have to wait 2 to 3 weeks before I can get it dyno tune.

Well theres your reason for it running rich. You need to get it tuned if you wish to run it in open loop all the time.

Connect up the stock 02 sensor.
