thanks for the pics mate, what did you do with the metal piece of breather?
just read the thread saying that the arc system is bad for heat soak :nono:, thinking it was a bad choice now lol but ill see how i get on when its fitted.

sorry i dont know ,if you can post pics of all pieces you have.the problem with heat i believe you can solve it my making a "shield" witha a carbon piece or aluminium and seperate the engine with the intake.

Hi Guys,

Have taken a picture of the filter fitted to the car.

There is a hole in the filter (1) that I think a breather pipe should go into.

There’s another pipe (2) that seems to disappear under the inlet manifold that is attached to a metal pipe that is joined to another metal pipe (4).

There’s a pipe (3) that seems to come up from the bottom that connects to the other end of the metal pipe (4).

The metal pipe (4) seems to join the rubber pipes (2 and 3).

The blue pipe going to the filter has replaced the longer side of the metal pipe (4).

It’s what goes into the hole on the filter and what to do with both ends of the rubber pipe that I’m not sure.

If anybody could advise me or has a picture showing a close up of the pipe arrangement down there I’d be grateful.

Thanks

Andy.

1 is for an ek4 which has an extra sensor the ek9 does not have so blank it.
next link pipes 2 and 3 together and job done.

quick question, when you buy the replacement filters for the arc intake do they come in 2's. 1 for the top and 1 for the bottom? cheers

look like battery terminals.

the battery has been relocated so thats where jump leads can be connected for quick and easy access

That car looks to be from the US of A :p

and where would i be able to find these jump leads? website links would be very helpful and also what is the labor involved in this process?

You can get the terminals from Summit Racing - High Performance Car and Truck Parts l 800-230-3030 or ebay.

Drill holes where you want the terminals, screw them in. Run cable from battery positive to red terminal and bat negative to black terminal
