Thank you! Yeah, I love the combination too! Feel very lucky to have managed to track these down :)

Just read this all the way through lovely 9 man very clean.

Thanks for the kind comments :)

Very clean and wheels look sweet

Thank you! Yeah, I try and keep it nice and clean but it can be difficult at times!

No major updates from this summer really but it recently had it's 170k service so took the opportunity to take some photos!

Firstly went through some sixes...

Pre-service wash...

Finally put my Simoncelli tribute sticker on the rear window...

Front windscreen sticker from going the MotoGP at Silverstone...

Also put the Recaro pillows in from Steven H on the forum...

Service time arrived...

Put my drivers seat cover on after the service for the forthcoming wet winter months!

The car has it's 180k cambelt service this forthcoming week so I took a few photos before it goes in...

A few more photos of the car with my mum's Jordan can be seen here: http://www.ek9.org/forum/photos-videos/15428-my-ek9-my-mums-ek4.html#post709702

As mentioned in that thread, the car will be up for sale soon. I will be very sad to see it go after the best part of 5 years ownership and nearly 100k miles... sad times! :(

Wow this is nice. I want it haha. Jordan looks mint as well mate. Definitely been well looked after.

The car was in for it's 180k on 25/02/2014 so took a picture outside the garage...

Along with the service, the car also had the following done:

  • Removal of Password:JDM Strut Braces
  • Removal of Spoon Calipers
  • Removal of KW Coilovers
  • Removal of Buddyclub Short Shifter with Tegiwa Extension

Obviously the OEM items were then installed.

I've not taken any photos of it yet but will be doing so next weekend as am still driving the car as I wait for the documentation to come for my new car. However, the garage posted the below picture on their Facebook page...

I must say I am loving the car in it's more standard form. It's been setup really, really well too. It will be so hard selling this, makes me sad just thinking about it! :(

Description:
So, the time has come to sell my much loved EK9...

I have owned the car since June 2009 and we've covered almost 100k miles together!

The car has been regularly serviced and this has been logged within my running build thread, which can be seen here: http://www.ek9.org/forum/builds-projects/30421-arcs-1998-cw-facelift-ek9.html or by following the link within my signature.

I have a bulging lever arch file with service history (both UK and Japanese), MOT certificates and various receipts along with all the import documentation from 2006 - when it was imported by Duncan of FastJapCars.

The car has now covered just over 180k miles and will be sold with approximately 182k as will be used until Saturday 15/03/2014 unless purchased before hand.

The car's MOT and Tax both expire on 31/07/2014 - I liked it this way as it's difficult to forget!

It's a great car and for it's 15 year age, it is in good condition as the photos and videos show. It's got some nice rare parts on too.

The car would be ideal for someone looking for a track day project or for someone who just wants to experience the car for driving. I've used the car as a daily driver so it is beginning to show some signs of age so if someone is looking for a showroom minter then this won't be for them.

I'm an honest guy and don't want to waste anyone's time so have been as open and honest as possible with the photos and videos...

The car was paid the ultimate compliment at the recent 180k service as the owner of the garage was interested in buying it so it can't be too bad!

The cars current spec list is as follows:

Engine and Gearbox
J's Racing carbon intake
Spoon Venturi throttle body
Skunk2 Racing’s Pro-Series intake manifold
5zigen ProRacer 4-2-1 DC2 98 spec header
Buddy Club JDM resonated decat
5zigen Miracle Fireball catback exhaust
Mugen engine mounts
Carbon plug cover
Red reservoir tank covers
Air Conditioning belt and Pulley removed

Chassis
Buddy Club camber arm adjusters
Stoptech Discs
Ferodo DS2500 pads
HEL Brakelines
OEM wheels with Hankook RS2 tyres

Exterior

Spare parts and items which will come with the car
OEM Catalytic Converter
OEM Mats
Recaro Seat cover
Full tank/40 litres of unleaded pertol
Parcel shelf and clips
2 Nr. Keys and 2 Nr. Alarm controls

The items that may concern some are as follows:
  • The windscreen has a few chips but as they are lightweight, never wanted to change it and the chips have never grown or spread during my 5 years of ownership.
  • The paint is thinning in a few places. This was highlighted when it was polished in 2011 but again nothing to be concerned about really.
  • The passenger side mirror does not fold in.
  • The Air Conditioning has been disconnected but not removed. This is as the pulley became loose a few years back.
  • The paint on the wheels is flaking but the wheels are not damaged.
  • The rear wheel arches have begun to rust.
The car is now ready to be sold so viewings and test drives can be arranged as of now.

The car will be parked, with a full tank of fuel, as of Saturday 15/03/2014 if it hasn't been sold by then so I'll confirm the exact mileage as and when this comes around.

If there are any questions or queries, please do not hesitate to ask.

Thanks for looking :)
