S2000 to an EK9? Why downgrade!!?

S2000 is by far a better platform than EK9, its newer, modern, its RWD most importantly!

You do realise they are forged internals from stock - you could EASILY see 400whp from a boosted setup and use it as a daily runner they are that reliable.
 
Its not all about power to everyone :)

If have a 200-250bhp ek9 all day over an s2k!
 
Yeah I realise the s2k is forged and I know what can be done with them. Insurance is silly high with these and all parts are mega expensive. For what I paid for my ad08's on the s2k I can easily get r888's in ek9 size. Plus with all the track stuff I do, if I bump the s2k will be silly money to repair, where as an ek9 is just a nineties civic so wings and things are easily available.
Mods for s2k your looking at over 600 for a set of camber arms. Just silly prices to mod them. Where as again ek9 is just a civic parts are all over the place.
So I see it as a sensible sidestep instead of a down grade lol if it is such a downgrade why hasn't anyone come to me with a swap?
 
Plus I've never driven a light car under 1250kg. And I've had massive power it's not everything.
