b16 turbo or ek9?


The real question is
What is your budget
What is the purpose of either build
And what do you want..
Base on that you can narrow it down to wich 1 suits you better...
 
I'm not sure what I want tbh budget isn't really an issue IIplan to eventually have an ek9 turbo just not sure what to do first. The turbo will probably be cheaper than the 9 but I think the 9 would be more fun was just looking for some options
 
Everyone has different views. I personally love the 9 for what it is. I have had faster cars and still dont feel the need to make my 9 quicker. If you want a 'fast car' i would go down a different route. If you want an all round driving experience. The 9 is a very good option. Thats just me though :)
 
I have never been in a 9 so I have no idea what they are like. I thought they would be a lot nicer to drive. Iv decided to go down the turbo route now so iv got my acl bottom end bearings orderd and a full oem gasket set so that should keep me busy untill the new year
 
Not got the money for both at the same time :( the turbo can be bought bit by bit so it's easier to get:p
 
For now iv decided on building the rest of this engine I have and keep it na. Then saving for a 9. I'll probably change my mind twice a day until I eventually buy something
