Right due to a couple of leaky stem seals, I've pulled the head on my civic motor and looking to have a play as I reassemble it. The engine had a low speed miss on cylinder 1 which I never got to the bottom of , but that cylinder had the leaky seem seals. Regardless the engine made 178bhp on Eurospec's DD rollers, which is not too shabby. On strip down I found:
AEM longarm intake, skunk2 inlet mani with Rc 310cc injectors
Stock TB and head
Buddyclub spec3+ cams
Skunk2 pro springs and retainers on stock valves.
Stock bottom end
Dc 4-1 stainless mani. Spoon mid, mugen rear box.
Mapped with moated demon and Neptune RTP.

So my thoughts are. A bit more compression would be nice, light port work and maybe recut the valve seat profile. I'm thinking:
PCT pistons from B16b, can these be milled down to reduce the height of their crown and compression?
Re cut 3 angle valve seats maybe be steeper than 45 deg (is the type r 60deg?)
Head wise, I want to do an endyne style port but raise the inlet floor with epoxy to reduce the port volume.
I'll cut and port out the skunk2 inlet manifold round the plenum and probably fit a 98spec dc2 exhaust mani and cat.

Thoughts please?
