Item for sale: B16B EK9 Engine
Price: 1250euro
Location: Ireland
Condition: 9/10
Description: Has 68k miles, timing belt was changed @60k, doesn't burn a drop of oil, very well maintained engine and pulls very well. Still in car so can be seen running. Check this thread to see how healthy this engine is http://www.ek9.org/forum/other-technical/25207-hour-dyno-today.html :nice:

ah ok ,,we're across for a wedding in just under 2 weeks but its up at Letterkenny. I'm just sus'ing out engine for a possible conversion ,,still doing my homework but I'll be in the market for a B16B.

a good healthy engine is that good power made from a standard engine few bolts on and u would be well over 190 at the fly good power from a b16b

looking into fitting TB's and a dta ecu. I was speaking with a mate with a Teg that he hillclimbs who fitted the kit thats avail on ebay - he said it made a good increase in power in the mid-range . I'm sure he took it to Will down at Doncaster who he spoke very highly of !

depends what ur after man personally wouldnt use itbs in a road car wouldnt be the friendliest yoke to drive ive seen a few arally cars runnin the genvi system itbs with bolts ons and good cams makin over 220 atf serious power in a b16b
 
good luck with your engine sale . Is there any truth in that courior costs can be quite high getting stuff that size/weight delivered from the South to the Uk mainland ? I just paid £58.00 +vat to get a 1400 16v cast iron Peugeot engine picked up from the South of England ,which I thought was quite reasonable.

It might not be too expensive. I can check postage cost if you want? What part of the UK are you in?

Del would be to my work in Aberdeen . What part of Galway are you in ? I'll phone my usual courior to see if they're able to quote. How complete will this engine be ? Don't know how long it would be before I could move onto tb's and standalone management . Is it coming complete less the gearbox , shafts and rad ?- engine,c/w inlet ,wiring and ecu ?

Will come complete bar gearbox+shafts and I was hoping to hold onto P/S pump. Can include OEM airbox also if needed. What car do you plan to put it in to? Galway city is where im located. I'll try also for delivery quotes.
 
- its ok , I won't be needing the p/s pump . What are you fitting in its place ?
