B16B High Idle Problem.

Hey guys,

I've got this idling issue problem on my B16B swapped into my EJ9, The engine on a cold start in the morning the idle goes to 1700rpm. once the engine is up to operating temperature, then idle will go straight to 1100rpm, drives fantastic and vtec engages but idle is constant @ 1100rpm when coming to a stop,stationed all the time. So why isn't it switcing to normal idle speed once it heats up?
 
What ecu has it got and have u tried adjusting the screw on then TB
 
had this problem...chnaged IACV and it still persisted..turned out it was the TB gasket.
 
@tama666 - It has been done.

@sarkel - Salaam bro, i'm using the PCT EK9 ecu, that came with the engine. We tried adjusting it manually it chokes and wants to stall.

@Avetec - It's been changed, still the same.

@chrissyEK41991 - All has been checked, No leaks.
 
Forgot to mention that.. if i use an B16A2 ecu on the car it idles normal?
 
Has the vac pipe on the rear of the inlet come off?

I fitted an oil cooler and dislodged the pipe and caused very similar symptoms, I expected the worst, but found the pipe hanging at the rear of the engine bay

I was thinking this too.. I can't think why it would do that. Mine idles dead high sometimes and sometimes idles normal. Got your PM but sorry I'm not much help lol.
