Hi,

I would like to know if the rods af a B16B engine fit on a B16A crankshaft.
I would like to fit B16B rods + pistons in a B16A engine.

Thanks!

Kind regards,
Pedro

no, none of that will work, im pretty sure your pistons will hit your valves. :nono:

yup ur rite blinx...the b16a block is shorter than the b16b block...both have a totally dif set up inside...an its an awful lot of work for such little gain.

Now when I use the B16A rods without modifications, B16B pistons don't fit on them I have read on the net. The rod of a B16A then needs to be milled 1mm on each side. Does someone have done this already on this forum, and are ther disadvantage...

Thanks already!

Kind regards

It's a waste of time.

Just get forged pistons if you want to upgrade.

I've heard that Eagle rods and pistons are quite good.

Thanks for the advice.
Now I won't to buy rods and pistons, but I am from Europe, and I see on ebay that in America there are many products to find, but here in Europe I can't find many...

I thought to let the parts import to Europe. Have there already people on this forum done such like that, who can help me...

Kind regards!
Pedro
