i know the reason why many people are put off this car...
Its had quite a few owners, it had a restamped b16a with a non lsd gearbox in there, hence why there is ment to be a b18 in there now. you have played dum about the cars history to people that have whent to view it and as a result noone is willing to believe its existing spec list and have there time wasted. If you were honest about the car and maybe stuck up some upto date pictures you might have more luck selling it?
 
Elchunk what do you mean played dumb about the history? I'm going to be viewing this car, so is there something I should know? I have been in contact with typeruss about the car and he has been willing to answer any questions I have had for him, but are you implying that he is dishonest?

Cheers jimbo I have read what he said re the engine swap and the b16a that was restamped when typeruss brought the car in the first place. The point I was trying make (and I apologise if this was not clear) was that I have been in contact with the seller about this and other issues and he has been open with me about the issues in question, but I was querying if elchunk meant that the answers he was giving were dishonest. He definitely says that noone believes the spec of the car. That's why I was querying it with elchunk
 
well im not even in the same country and i've heard about this car, maybe he has change his approach to selling the car after realising that hiding the truth's wernt working. Hopefully if you go to see it you can give the rest of those interested some feedback about it, i would just be vary cautious about what he says has been done to the car and what all is actually on it. but then you as a buyer are responsible for checking all that anyway. goodluck and i hope it is as good as its meant to be. :nice:

Fair enough, thanks for the heads up. I'm going to see it anyway and I am well aware of the previous issues with the restamped b16a etc so I will be giving a close inspection but like you say id do that anyway with a new car. If I decide it's not for me I will definitely post some feedback on here.

With respect mate... You have no idea what went on regarding my car and what correspondance l had with the potential buyer at the time, so instead of making up complete b/s about something you have no idea about, your in a different country i'd like to point out, maybe keep your opinions to yourself? I've gone to great lengths financially to put this car 'right' thank's to a previous owner and your comments are neither helpful or benificial in any way. What do you mean by 'what he says is done to the car'??? Check out my build thread mate and you will see that it is a real B18 that's gone in, it has got replacement suspension, seat's, flywheel, brakes, exhaust, steering wheel etc etc etc I have had countless offers from people for my car but i'm not willing to accept what l believe are rediculous offers because l know what i've spent on the car and won't give it away for peanuts.

If you still think it has a mystical mod list then get yourself over to Japfest, have a look at the car and then shut up... If I was a dis honest person I would have just continued to try and sell it as it was and not spent best part of 3k putting things right :nice:

seeing as you have spent so much time and money to put it right, would it not make sense to update your photos that are near a year old??? i genuinely hope you get the car sold as its a shame for it just to be sitting there.
 
it all sounds a bit odd to me.im missing something here obviously about the history of this car.right now im looking for a very good if not perfect condition ek9 with either a b18c swap or just a good price so i can do the swap myself.at this price it just semms too cheap compared to the other ones like this for sale.i agree on getting updated pics as im sure if people could see the car with engine bay pics and especially interior pics it would help a lot
