heloo ek9.org memberz i have a 99 vsm b18c ek9, couple a months a go i did a b18c conversion with 4.7 fd gearbox, 2 weeks later the car started smoking from tail pipe (blue) so went back to the bloke that did the conversion so he did a compression test all four cylinders come out on full trottle was 225psi so that was oki but still smokes, so he has given 81mm wossner high performance forged pistons, piston rings and oem b18c valve stem seals are these pistons any good and also will the block need to be borred out for these pistons to fit.

any help would be appreciated

I'm not sure about the pistons, but your smoking problem will 99% be the valve stem seals.

i had this problem, changing valve seals didn't help at all.
_________
it might help if you have smoking problem only @ the moment when you start your engine in the morning after night and later do not smoke.
_________

i'm almost 100% sure that the problem is oil rings on pistons.
_________

does it eat a lot of oil? :)
