Hiya guys, just done a b18c swap in my ek9 and i'm not getting any fuel? What could the problem be? I have checked the fuel pump fuse under the dash, and the FI fuse in the bay, what else should i be checking? So far the earths all look fine, the car cranks, however, there is absolutely no fuel as i disconnected the pipe going to the fuel filter and its dry like a desert!

silly question, is the pump connected electrical?

is the ecu correctly plugged in??? is it the right ecu to run the b18???

when i take the ecu out of my car for security, you can crank it but i wont run the fuel pump!!

hope this maybe of some help

The ecu must be correctly plugged in but just to check if it was the ecu, i tried starting it with the ek9 ecu and b18c ecu and same **** happened!?

Make sure the earth strap of engine loom is bolted down to thermostat housing

as i said in a previous post, the correct voltage is so important, long story short! my friends earthing strap was connected wrong, it sent an electrical signal up the intake manifold to the TPS, the ecu thought the car was on partial throttle when the throttle body was wide open 100%

check the feed to the fuel pump, then work back from there, there is a crash switch under the passenger foot well if you knock this it cuts the fuel pump feed from the main relay,

The earth strap on the thermo housing is fine! The battery also has been on charge and is full. The car was running fine with a b16b and it came of a running dc2 which i went to see myself!

Anymore details on the crash switch? I may have toggled with it or something when the ecu was swapped over..?

Good call but ek9's don't have a inertia switch:secret:

I was really hoping it would :( Also noticed the cel light doesnt come on, I could swear it used to?

Maybe a silly question but...

Can you hear the fuel bump when you turn the ignition? or is it totally dead ?

I can't hear the fuel pump, I don't think its being triggered on!
