B18c4 hesitation

Hello i am having hesitation issues with my b18c4 mini any advice would be greatly appreciated, It isn't engaging the vtec seems to be misfiring from in around 4000rpm dont know exact rpm because gauge is broke..

Is the engine check light on?

its not giving me a check light =/ I've changed spark plugs, distributor cap, and rotor arm!

Change the entire distributor for a known good one

i will try and get another distributor, would that be the symptoms of a dodgy one?
