I hope you peeps can help or direct me to a good thread, I currently own a Honda civic aerodeck with a b18 engine and I'm buying an ek civic in the next couple of days and planning on doing the convertion over the next couple of weeks. Any advice, guidance and photos would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Neil

You'll need:
ek4 rear 'L' bracket
Ek4 timing side mount
Ek4/9 engine loom (there are differences in pre facelift obd2a and facelift obd2b,get the one to match your car)
Obd2a/obd2b to obd1 conversion harness
Chipped p28/30 ecu
B18c4 basemap chip

Those are all the main parts mate

Which civic are you buying? does it have a B series or D series? If you buy an EK4 with factory B16 its very simple to do the conversion. But if you are buying a D series engined civic, JamieMathieson post is spot on.

The only problem with buying a b16 ek is people want more than I'm willing to pay for one, I will end up with a d series ek, I was planning on using my ecu and loom from the aerodeck! Is this not possible then? I've been to look at a few ek's already but this is going to be harder than I thought to find a half decent one.

MB chassis share the same style engine loom as EG and DC chassis. The engine loom plugs to the car loom from plugs located on both front shock towers. EK chassis has a different layout engine loom, it goes under the battery and plugs directly to the ecu.
