B18c4 problem

Mate swapped a B18c4 in his eg. Since the swap the engine light Comes on after few minutes of driving, car misfires, spits, pops, bangs, no power. If car is started up and left idling, idles perfect no cel light.
What can it be? SPark plugs? Dizzy?

Dizzy cap, rotor arm. Coil leads or plugs get him to inspect them all

Try a O2 sensor on it

I´d guess the O2 sensor as well, but what CEL code are you getting?

Changed plugs today car drove great vtec came in hard. After 20 mins or.so driving fine cel cones back up, wont let vtec kick in bit doesn't spit or.misfire. Code is no 23
