Baby Blue Ej9

Been busy last few weeks sanding and preparing parts for painting.
Bought a genuine new front bumper and a pair of wings to replace the pattern parts I originally had.
Prepped the parts up to the colour stage then had a professional to put down the clear coat.
For a cheap DIY job, its turned out pretty well, so pretty happy with the outcome.

Got a new copy of photoshop also, so couldn't resist having a little fiddle...

Going to stick with the black bonnet for the time being, might buy a carbon kevlar bonnet later in the year... hmm dreams...
Still waiting on the rear bumper and skirts to come back from being clear coated.

Took the car to longlife exhausts in Swansea also to get a centre pipe made up to suit the Mugen Twin loop back box I had.
Pretty good deal for £149 fully custom built stainless steel and fitting + you get to choose your own exhaust note - no more raspy exhaust noise!
Sounds almost standard for daily driving, but gives a nice mid roar when you floor it. Sounds good for a 1.4....

Also swapped my Rota Grids for a set of 16' Slipstreams.
They originally came in white colour, but I didn't really like the look of them.
Attacked them with a few tins of paint stripper and tons of sand paper to get them down to bare alloy, then dropped them off with APS Alloy Refurbishers in Swansea.
Wanted to have the outside fully mirror polished and the inside/ between the spokes painted in a metalic black.

Really happy with the finish on them, look amazing up close! Bling! :)
Not looking forward to cleaning them every other day though...
