Bad Vibration!!!Help ASAP.:(

During a launch i pulled second gear and steering started shaking real bad.thought it was a cv joint or something but when i lifted the bonnet the passenger side upper mount had totally ripped..Changed that and all mounts look ok cept for the gearbox mount which was always shaged. . . Anyway the vibration is still there.Its like over 30mph it gets worse..really its the same feeling as a drive gone but no clanking and banging.and when you look at the engine ticking over it is slightly moveing left to right on the mounts and when you rev it you see it move even more left to right.Vibration in car is wayy to bad to drive with..any help very very very much appreciated as car is off the road at the moment.

well boss hows things, have you checked the carrier bearing on the long driveshaft to see if theres any play? or see is there anyplay in any of the inner cv joints make sure theres no movement between the cup part of the joint and the shaft going into it,
or could it be a warped clutch or flywheel from the pressure of the launch??

Hows it going...am checked that there.Yep a good bit of play in that bearing bu no real play outof the cv joints..im going to order a whole new drive on monday..i think cda in dublin are doing spurious ones.Hopefully this will fix it because i only fitted the clutch and fly liek 2 months ago..thanks for the help finto.

Does it happen if you rev the car at x amount of revs or only when driving?

also what clutch and flywheel have you?i think the exedy stage 2 and up have a run in period to avoid high spots which would cause vibrations but probably not as severe as this.,

Nope its only when you get over abou 30mph.doesnt matter what gear or engine rev.....and its a exeedy organic clutch and 5kg fly.
