You revving your engine to 9100? A set of Skunk2 tuner 2 cams would work well.

you will also need valve springs, retainers, cam gears, thinner headgasket a chipped ecu and a tuner.
but with stock compression on a stock R motor nothing is better than stock cams.

Anything else you'd suggest to help these make alittle more power? Head skim and things like that. Cannot afford high comp pistons and prefer stock reliability.

They will work ok on stock compression but i've found in around 12.0:1 CR to produce the best results with these camshafts. You could skim 15-20 thou off your cylinder head which will bump your compression up to 11.8-12.0:1

You ever worked with an engine that's had that much off? Might actually consider it as an option some time in the future.

Thanks for the info. What sort of figures you seen? Is it very peaky power like losing out at around 6k to make more higher up? Or just more power all over vtec?

Hard to give figures as setup's vary so much between different supporting mods(intake, exhaust etc). The last stock bottom end with tuner 2's I mapped made 218bhp on a Dyno Dynamics. On this particular one we moved cams to shift all the power to above 6k rpm as this is where the engine operates 99% of the time on track. For a road car I would dial the cams in as per instructions on spec sheet from Skunk2. This will give you best over all gains throughout the rev range.

So your looking at 210 or above really. Will be for my race car but don't want to be hitting 9k all the time because there's no grunt lower down.

Your current printout of 200bhp, is this with stock ecu or Hondata? The Tegiwa intake, is that the one which looks like Mugen airbox? I would get rid of your twinloop they are restrictive compared to other catback exhausts. I would recommend a 70mm Skunk2 but be warned they are loud!

I am down on power with my skunk2 cams stage 2 , still running oem b pipe with a brand new block from honda it was kicking out 190bhp . Going for a custom exhaust and new thottle housing , and get rid of my aem v2 .

Aem v2 that bad?
I thought mine was quite good coming from a dc2 box, defo more lowdown/midrange grunt, didn't notice a loss up top either.

Not to sure if to keep v2 or not , my car was on the dyno before the race season engine was still tight etc and exhaust is not flowing enough for the cams , the race car still got more to go .

I would like at different intakes, the carbon intake isn't that good.

Is there anywhere you can get a custom exhaust made?

On your dyno sheet in the green info box what is your AT and IT?

Did you dial the cams in? Mapped ecu? Certainly you need proper breathing mods for the cams to work well
