i live in Cyprus guys.. wake up having a high revving engine on 40 celcius isnt so easy as you think the hotter day in uk its the coldest in Cyprus!! when its cold over here its like 15 celsius

I still wouldnt run anything higher than 30 on a street car in VERY HOT countries.

Where I'm from, We have summers that hit 44C, and 35C avg.

I ran Honda hybrid oil 0w20 in that period and it was better than ever.

you compared so many different oils ...
do you have an oil temp gauge ?
how was each oil compared to others on long revving periods of street driving ?

Just switched over to AMSOIL Z-ROD myself.

witch weight you choose ?
i'm using ams oil 10-40 and as label ''with extra zinc''
zinc is a must in honda engines see flat tappets etc...
well done mate :nice:

Im using Castrol EDGE 0w-30 at the mo and it seems like a good oil, the addes protection when cold is good peace of mind although my engine (b16b) does burn a bit of it, been through almost half a liter in about 600-700 miles.

Will be moving to a different brand when another 2k miles are up. but would defiantly recommend 0w-30

I did not change the weight from prior; still using 5-30.
Yes, the zinc in the oil is a must with the cams.

I like the way AMSOIL smells too...but im weird like that.
