Out in car other night on motorway bout 75 80 n the car wouldnt speed up it felt like flat out no pull then it starting spluttering then sounding like a scooby then starting pumping white smoke out cudnt see anything behind me at all so towing it to some1's house tonite to have a look any ideas guys

Also to mention a couple of week ago spark pluk 2 melted n sounded like a scooby changed it n it was fine but the top of the spark plug luked like it had all melted together all the top and had a compretion test done n it was 130 psi on piston 2 any thoughts guys

130 is very very low! :nono: there's a whole in it somewhere, or ring is fook'd

As above internal your compression is very low.

Time to get that head off probably gona need a new engine.

Their is a slight knock on tick over but goes away wen raising the revs 1300 got told sounded like a valve or piston slap

Can It be fixed and head.is coming off on thursday to identify the problem guys

Jeez thats not good at all man, keep us posted on how it goes.

It depends on the gauge. You're looking for as close as possible numbers across the board.

OP, take the head off and the rods and pistons out. Specs of the engine and more detail would be nice, but taking a rough guess you've damaged a piston(s) (either holes in the crown or failed ringland). Like I say more info is needed really... It doesn't sound like we're talking about a lightly modded stock engine here....

Is this boosted? noticed you posted in forced induction section not long ago. Sounds like a melted piston.

No its na guys n far as im aware its stock internal I posted bout boost cos their was a little knock on tick over and thought needed stripping so looked into a build but now this h
as gone just dont know what to do I droped the car off tonite and head will be off thursday so I will keep you all updated guys thanks for all the help and info just hope she will live guys :nerv:

Think it got a little warm in that cylinder!!!!

That looks like pre ignition damage. Is there anything visual that could of caused a potential "hot spot " ?

The air fuel mixture has ignited before the spark plug has fired.

How many pistons look like that? Is it the one? Or have they all got damage?
