Bon Voyage.... Destination 'ring

Surely thats repairable, its very central? Or is it not worth the risk

I think its repairable too.. its fairly central & the tyre is brand new.

When it was taken off I took it back with me, so that I can check in the UK about getting in repaired. The German garages I visited said that they cannot lawfully repair a tyre rated 'v' and the repair is not able to cope with the speed of the tyre or some such..

So was a little bit of a trial; My brand new AD08 got a puncture; my full OEM EK9 rim running Parada Spec II popped its valve :blabla: so I ended up running the space saver to get me to the tyre fitters..

Lucky I decided to take two spare!

I bought, 2 continental tyres. Swapped those onto my UKDM dc2 rims, and re-valved the ek9 rim, put the odd AD08 on that, and now I am carrying the Parada spec 2 tyre (nothing wrong with it) & the nail punctured ad08 in the boot. At least this way I have matching tyres on the rear for consistent grip

Will be attempting to sell them as a part worn pair when I get back to recoup some of the costs

Saturday Update..

After the debacle with the tyre issue, our original desintation for Friday (Zurich, CH) went out of the window so instead we made our way to stay in the mountains in Austria.

Turns out that Austria is spoilt for choice on tunnels (and we had fun in those.. ) some were nealry 5 miles long through the mountains..

Following the overnight stop in the Austrian mountains, we headed for our hotel near the Stelvio Pass in Northern Italy/CH border. Intentions were to rest up at the hotel for the afternoon, and head out over the pass tomorrow [Sunday] but as we made good time we ran a circuit over the pass today.

By chance, met some other memebers on the peak of the Stelvio with a immaculate EK4 Jordan..

Now currently we're planning out route back through north Italy & into France for the remainder before getting home..

Someone caught a nice shot at the ring.... Think I will be buying this one from the photographer
