bonnet stand

can anyone tell me if the bonnet stand on the ek9 is the same on all civics? my F***ing idiotic mate pulled my bonnet down when it was up and snapped the stand!!!!! luckily he didnt twist the bonnet :nono: cheers lads andy
 
The exact same thing happened to me, my mate broke mine too!

Yeah just go into Honda with your chasis number and they'll look after you. You might need the clips too so check that too.
 
You guys need some more observant friends! Tell them the car is more important than they are:secret:.

No not at all. Loosen up the stand itself by messing with it. Then once you have that off take off the clip. Then get the new stand and new clip. Place the clip onto the new stand and just place into the hole again, once the end of the stand is in click the clip into place and thats it :nice:
