im in the middle of buying bits to upgrade my civic jordan(ek4) from 262mm brakes to 282mm brakes onda front.ive got most of the stuff now apart from discs and pads, but my question is ive read you need 3mm spacers if your using stock wheels, but ive bought some 5mm spacers.
will i have problems or will they be ok?
or am i best getting them trimmed down to 3mm using a lave machine?

May be a bit tricky to shave them down to 3mm be difficult to hold them in the lathe. You may be able to machine some soft jaws but relistically 2.5mm is rather difficult to hold in a chuck. i would be :nerv:

Not much help but if it was me i'd change your wheels problem solved :D

I thought 5mm would be pushing it abut far,I got them very cheap.suppose I better start looking for som 3mm spacers then.thanks for your help tho ppp
