Been looking at getting one of these, Kingmotorsports have the R920 version on sale at $159. I was planning on investing on an AFR gauge, but if this incorporates AFR amongst a tonne of other features, read from the ECU, was thinking of going for this.
Has anyone had any experience with these, or heard good/bad reviews?
This is the new model:
They incorporate a tonne of on board features:
STF (Short Term Fuel Trim) %
CLV (Calculated Load Value) %
RPM (Engine RPM)
IGN (Ignition Timing) °
TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) %
MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) kPa or psi
MAF (Mass Air Flow) g/s
ECT (Engine Coolant Temperature) °F or °C
EOT (Engine Oil Temperature) °F or °C
IAT (Intake Air Temperature) °F or °C
O2 (Oxygen Sensor Voltage) v (Bank1 and Bank2)
AFR (A/F Ratio) (Bank1 and Bank2)
ALC (Fuel Alcohol Level) %
VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) mph or km/h
BAT (Battery Voltage) v
Options:
Adjustable shift light 3000-9000rpm via external LED
Reads and clears diagnostic trouble codes
Turns off CEL light
Displays A/F ratio on vehicles equipped with an OEM wideband O2 sensor.
A/F ratio conversion for early Honda/Acura K20 engines.
Data output for logging.
External parameters:
EOT (Engine Oil Temperature) °F or °C
IAT (Intake Air Temperature) °F or °C
AFR (A/F Ratio)
EGT (Exhaust Gas Temperature) °F or °C
OIL (Oil Pressure) kPa or psi
BP (Boost Pressure) kPa or psi
Only thing I'm wondering is, will I still need a wideband sensor for it to display AFR?!
