Broken inner valve springs

Ok all stripped down and can not find anything wrong... All springs are intact... WTF!

A friend had similar problems and he had two gone.

one of those things, just rebuild it,but i would take the chance for a aftermarket head setup. Cam! springs! retainer! valve! Gears! imagine that along with the 1800cc!!! (we are talking about the b18 right?)

Yes mate we are. Only problem with that is cost, reliability, need a tune straight away, and i might still have the problem....

Get your valve clearances checked, check for broken springs etc etc

What noise is it?

Looked into LMA's and they are all ok. Going to change them anyway but we believe it to be a rocker arm issue now....

i have a similar noise in my sir, just before vtech kicks in u can hear a rattling sound from the block. its pulls the very same but i think its something to look into. valve springs??
