alri guys i was planin on putin these buddyclub cams in my b16b,do i have to change anythin wen im goin to install these cams and has anyone done this with the spec v cam and wat gain have they achived?thanks.

are you fitting high comp pistons too? if not then I wouldnt bother....those cams need at least 12.5:1 compression

well havent thought off that but wat cams wud u recomend for a b16b that give good gains?

something like a buddyclub spec iii would be good, or skunk2 pro1 - only think about going more aggressive if you are upping the compression as well

alri and to get the compression up wat parts u need to do to bring the compression higher?wud u think rebuildin my engine and puting the cams make gud gain frm wat it is nw at 185bhp?

high comp pistons, you can also mill the head, fit a thinner head gasket and flat faced valves...hard to say but you should see around 200 brake, n/a tuning is expensive

I suggest at least Buddyclub IV with:

-Buddyclub thin head gasket to raise compression
-Buddyclub flat face valves to raise compression
-Buddyclub dual valve springs and titanium retainers
-Mill the head .020" to raise compression
-3 Angle valve job

I have seen this setup with supporting mods and properly tuned pick up 30whp! IIRC there is a sticky in the engine section:

well nw im thinkin getin b18c and duin a conversion but im stuck on which cams and wat nessesery bits i need to to gain bhp.i heard skunk 2 do the job and same for buddyclub and toda?
