Hi Mate,

What roll cages will be in the civics provided?

Do you have an agreement with someone on the pricing of these?

Im looking for a bolt in or a cheap weld in as im not wanting to spend in excess of £1500 for a roll cage

too bad its only for civic and not highly tuned or we would have come for a race with our dc2, best wishes for it guys its a cool project

yes, sorry for my bad english i mean its too bad that our dc2 is already too much tuned for this championship but anyway its the best formule like clio cup we have here in belgium ;) good luck

Correct me if im wrong! looking through the reg, it looks like a money making sceme for SPD. they have to supply just about everything.....

They supply everything but it means every body has the same kit, even racing, as said it will be down to the skill of the driver, should be great to watch, if you look at the price breakdown, looks pretty reasonable.

Or you could buy your own car, buy the same parts off another supplier(at twice the price), strip it, make & weld in a roll cage, fully respray & sticker it up, source & pay someone to make all the bespoke parts, pay a winning race team to build, fit & set up & service every thing for you, then you'd have the same spec car... Good luck!

How did the 2 Civic Cup cars get on in their first outing in the Nippon at Mallory a couple of weeks ago?

If you was correct we would be selling the cars that cost 12-14k to build and prepare for 6.7k??

Or would all the parts that you can change on your car be at trade or less for registered member?

nice first post anyway barney:thanks:

Not read the regs, thought all the cars were the same? Whats the 'S' experience?

only performance enhancing part is the exhaust, everything else is more of a personalisation of the car as in the lips and skirts spoilers etc...

And as proved on the recent tests at brands and mallory the difference is less than a second an made no real diff in each race as the two cars finished above and below each other in opposing races.

The S pack was introduced because the people who have bought the cars did want an element of being able to personalise them,

they did very well as they did at brands yesterday, both the S and non S car was withing a second of each other and had a very close battle with each other for pretty much all the first and second race :)

Then i stand corrected, appologies.

look forward to the series. (ill be in touch soon shaun)
