basically i have a spec 2 i bought brand new but was thinking to maybe sell it to get a twinloop

what would most people think is a better system?

i would have thought the spec 2 is more free flowing and perform better but im not to sure

anyone had both and compared at all?

any help appreciated

this is on a dc2 by the way.

:nice:

spec 2 is indeed better performance wise but it is brutally loud! the twinloop is more restrictive and reserved and hence will not offer the same performance, infact the oem system would probably perform better than the mugen.

yeh ive had a few people say that but i really dont understand it because its mugen being like the best make for hondas and retails at like £1000

i may just buy some new wheels instead

yea unfortunately the twinloop carries alot of jdm scene tax with it. Its a great and subtle exhaust but for power gains there is better out there. :nice:

so end of the day the spec 2 is a better exhaust system but just hell'ishly loud!

I've been running a spec 2 for a week, I've noticed the power difference. But it does my head in, there is no was of driving it without it constantly farting and growling, and when you do put the power down its just unreal +2 on spec 4 but they suffer with baffle problems

haha i know exactly what you mean!

i went doctors as i went deaf in one ear for 2 days!

I wish the tracks in the country lifted there noise limits, the spec 2 is the ultimate exhaust with no exceptions.

It's a no compromise, light as possible (without being titanium) exhaust... But too loud for racing, which is rather ironic

It's stupid, what's the point in having a track if you can't use track exhausts none of this trouble in America...

| couldnt put up with the noise or looks of the spec 2, not keen on mugen parts in general either. Spoon or j's for me.
