Buying an ek9 again ... help !!

Hi everyone ....

Sold my ek9 about 6months ago and its time to get a new one. For one reason or another everyone in my car club is on "Build an ultra fast track car" mode so im back to familiar territory and looking for an ek9 as my existing would cost a fortune to turn into a track beast.

Has anyone got any suggestions about clean, good condition examples that are for sale. Strangely perhaps, paintwork and interior condition are not of huge concern, but it must be mechanically bulletproof. Can anyone help?

I did see this supercharged example on pistonheads, does anyone know whos it is? Is this Ant's old car used to be in Glasgow when I had my 1st ek9? See below.

I went to see that Ek9 about 2 weeks ago.....No Dissrespect to the owner as hes probally on here....its a Clean car...Bodywork is in good condition...no Dings or Scratches, handles very well with the Tein coilovers and it has a X-bar, but 220 BHP...iv Been in (Steven EK9's) car from this Forum and another Friend with a black EK9 tuned from CPL...with 191 BHP and Both those cars are much faster than this Ek9!!!! It just doesnt have much Punch from the engine at all....unfortunate really as it is a nice car! The owner before that Refused to put it on the Rolling-Road as well...even with the RR being payed for by somebody else interested in the car who wanted to see Actually Figures, not an Estimation of BHP!

i imported that car a couple of years back,it wasnt stupidly quick but it was really nice to drive.
