Buying Rims From The US

Has anyone ever had experience of purchasing rims over in the US, and having them shipped to the UK?

I have been doing some research, and can get a set of 15inch Rota slipstreams from the US for roughly about 350 notes inc. shipping to the UK.
I know I should anticipate the additional dredded custom charges also, but would it be worth going to all that hassle, or are there rota suppliers in the UK who can do similar deals?
 
if seller can state low value on packages you will save on customs.

not all will do this thou but i know a seller on ebay in the states that will do this and he sells rotas etc :nice:

they are "lcd motorsports" and will look after you mate.

Thought so mate. Just wanted to check:)
contemplating getting a set of 15x7 +40 5x114.3 slipstreams in bronze.
But not had much luck so far. I will email them and see if they can get hold of some.

I am guessing you have used this seller previously with no issues buddy?
