Collected this in at the end of november, collected it as a shell, shocks and engine, so had to bring wheels and seats with me. So xxrs that are on in the first few pics where borrowed of a friend.

Im just taking these updates from another forum to get me up to date, so sorry if it doesnt make any sence lol

Here is a rundown of the updates

Page1 : Project purchased! :D Red recaros and sparco harnesses bought and fitted

Page1 : Racetech turbo parts bought! And Sprint SW9 alloys bought :D

Page1 : Sprints fitted with pics

Page1 :TAKATA harness fitted

Page3 : Enkei RPF1s reps and Uniroyal rainsport 3 tyres purchased! and Bride Purchased!

Page3 : HYBRID RACING parts bought and turbo stuff sold :D

Page3 : New alloys fitted with uniroyals + coilovers fitted :D

Page4 : HYBRID RACING kswap harness purchased :p

Page4 : Mugen Lip and EK9 grille sprayed and fitted! :O With good pics

Page5: Hasport KSwap driveshafts :D

Page6 : K20 Purchased

I picked up the car as it sits in this pic, with no seats wheels or manifold and a few other bits missing.





And this is it now :D

This is how the car sat in the first week of ownership after getting the necessary stuff together to drive it!

Update - Picked up some race-tech turbo parts last night, thanks to JonnyEK. Thanks again man

So these arrived yesterday :) If anybody wants a set pm me, i should have more this time next week :)















Got my coilovers in at the rear and it makes the car look better imo. Ive taken of the tilt brackets off the spoiler and sold them as i thought it looked chavvy.Im still not sold on the wheels so i have got some Enkei RPF1 reps on order :p not allowed them until xmas though as im still young enough for my parents to get me them for xmas haha ^:eek:)









Im changing the whole way the car looks, and im going to do it they way i would like it so it may look good to some people and look bad to others.



So far what im planning is:

Bomex spoiler, hopefully have one sourced

Replacing the front lip with a pre facelift lip

Enkei RPF1s

Type R grill
 
Okay now to bring you guys up to date, i still havent warmed to the new wheels so my RPF1s should be arriving today or tomorrow and i have to sign for them but im not allowed to have them until xmas :'( lol

Of course i will have to open the boxes and inspect them before i sign for them though ;)

Also will be putting on a mugen front lip at the weekend :D
 
Looks good man. Rpf1's will look sweet when you get them on. They 16's?
 
If you uncross the harness belts it will be shorter in length, which makes it a tad safer due to less material that can stretch and less "chafing" sp? .

Love the color of the hatch!

Nope.

So what is next on your project? Brakes? Go big if its on your radar esp if you are going forced induction.
 
Get a harness bar fitted mate.
From what I've read on previous threads at that angle it can cause spinal compression.
All this other mods mean nothing if it's not safe.
Apart from that epic car mate.
Part of me wishes I had brought an EK and spend money on it.
 
^^^or buy a bolt in cage over a harness bar, seriously.

ive got 282s atm man, il go bigger again once the turbo is on

harness bar wouldnt fit cause of the cage man
 
You could get a bar welded up behind your seat. Could use that as a harness bar :)

By the way, those harnesses FIA approved? No point in a harness bar if the harnesses weren't safe to begin with. Better of with your standard belt :nice:
