I have a set of ek4 calipers, which I have stripped down 'almost' completely to have shot blasted and powder coated....now for the tricky bit!
Front calipers are easy and completely stripped, as for the rears, everything is stripped apart from in the hand brake section, there is a needle bearing, which I assume will have to be removed prior to powder coating? As they are obviously baked at a high temperature....
My question is, does this bearing need to be removed? If yes, what's the best way? As I can't seem to find a replacement if I damage it, final resort would be to epoxy paint them and leave the bearing in there to prevent them being baked...
Thoughts / comments / suggestions please!
