Can anyone please help diagnose a fault on my cousin's CRX VTi?

My cousin has been having problems with her CRX VTi (B16A2). It drives absolutely great until it warms up (10 or so minutes into a journey).

The problem is most problematic when accelerating from low revs, eg from a standstill or a slow speed approach to a roundabout etc.

If you feather the throttle and put hardly any load on the engine, you can avoid the problem. However anything above 10% throttle and it actually slows the car. Pulling away from idle it's quite easy to stall, which is followed by a pop from the exhaust.

The ABS light never goes off, although I assume that's an unrelated issue. The car has probably not seen VTEC in 5 years as she is not exactly a girl racer. I did attempt to VTEC it, but I'm not entirely sure its working.

Here's a quick video I captured tonight of the problem. Any help or advice would be very welcome, thanks!

Ignitor in the dizzy on its way out would be my ods on favourite. Notorious b series problem.

The most common prob with a B series engine is prob the dist but this sounds a bit like the TPS or MAS fitted to the throttle body.
Could also poss be spark plug holes filled up with water?

The distributor was dying. Fitted a replacement and it's cured it. Thanks to Adam and the 6TWO1 guys! :)
