Can i get a key cut for my car?

I was just wondering if i buy a key on ebay and get it cut the same as my current key will it work ? my car has an immoboliser and im not sure if this stops the cut key from working or not ?

i got one cut at a locksmiths and works fine with the immoboliser

GENUINE HONDA BLANK KEY 88-00 CIVIC CRX INTEGRA PRELUDE this is what I'm not sure about ,, where it says in the description "Will fit most 92-00 Honda's and possible older that don't have immobilisor chips inside the key."

If you have an immobiliser chip in your current key, then you need one in any new key your are going to get cut, otgerwise it will only open the locks but not start the car.
