Car revving at 2k

Hi I've recently fitted a b18 into my ek9 and just taken it out the car was fine when started but when driven the stop at traffic lights rev's at 2k and when tap the accelerator decreases to normal rev's what could this be?

Leak perhaps at the inlet manifold ?? How often does it do it??

just every time i stop at yellow lines or traffic lights

Put my money on an air leak, make sure all the tubes are connected and are connected in the right places at the back of the intake manifold, also it could be worth cleaning your iacv sensor!

Had the same problem and it was a little tube not connected!

Ok found the problem, the vacuum pipe on the back of the intake manifold wasn't connected.... now connected up the car is on the verge of cutting out when on idle it's idling on about 200 rpm :/ any ideas?
