Hi, thought id do a bit of a project thread,

The car is a 98 Prefacelift EK3. Bought it last week after my old civic was written of (not my fault lol)

So here we go,

Its a 98 EK3 in Thunder Grey.. With a Type R Splitter (Front and Rear)

On the interior side it has 2 Premier EP3 Recaros on Ek9 rails. a

So i started by buying an civic Armrest and i wrapped in red fabric :win:

I also picked up a AEM induction bar pretty cheap :win:

I then wanted to have a good look over the civic to make sure all the bolts where in correctly ect ect, so removed some sound deadening to see how easy it was...

I then picked up a set of Vti Clocks

and also relocated the radio to the lower part of the center console.. and used a dye to dye the carpet black.. :woot:

And also added a Carbon Spoon spoiler from my old civic

And Finally, Ive Ek9'd the rear lights, ( pics to follow) and have a "more legal" plate...


So thats how she sits after a weeks ownership :D

Im hoping for an engine swap and hopefully a respray as the paint isnt the best :angry:

Next on the list is wheels, which should be next week :nice::nice:

Got new wheels :D XXR501's (hopefully coilovers to go in saturday)

Were are you from? There's a cheap mb6 on gumtree ATM if you from Northern Ireland and your steering column surround needs screwed in lol

Northern Ireland! lol But the engines for next Jan when i can insured by a decent company lol

Very nice! Those D15z6 engines are great little engines I think. So much better than the 1.4s!

Your not far wrong, took it for a run not so long ago and hit 115 at 5k rpm in 4th, compared to a 1.4 which is around 115 or so topped out, fair play, better going than i expected.

Will do matey (y), imo its actually easier to install it down there than where it usually is, ill get a few pics tonight :)
