CEL code 14

I am getting a cel code 14 (14 IAC - idle air control valve), I've cleaned it out thoroughly and even tried one that's working with no joy. Any suggestions please?

Have you pulled the fuse to clear the code once the AICV was cleaned.

I disconnected the battery for about 15mins, started the car up and let it idle for approx 15mins but still no good mate.

Edit - forgot to mention it idles very low, around 300-400rpm on cold and hot temp.

Is the timing set correctly?

I got my issue sorted, the plug going into the iac was the wrong one, this is easily done when using an aftermarket inlet manifold.

It was the map sensor plug . no?
