I got mine connected to the alarm, but every couple of months they only lock when they feel like it with the alarm and so I hav to keep locking it manually! But ye I know wats wrong, there's a small green plastic in the door lock that probably broke (happened mine on passenger side) easy enough to replace once you get a new/used one. You have to take off the door cards and will need a size 10 ratched!
I haven't got around to tightening the lever on the alarm!
